If the product does not meet with your expectations you may request a refund.
In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way.
After we receive your item, we will inspect it and process your refund. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Whilst Vanguard Models strives to produce kits of the very highest standard, we need to remember that timber is a natural product and some parts can fail, although this is very rare with the grade of timber we use. If you do find this to be the case, please contact us and include a photograph of the problem and we will endeavour to replace that item for you.
If for any reason, you break or ruin a good part during construction, then Vanguard Models will only replace the whole sheet from where that part originates. In these instances, a charge will be made for the whole sheet, plus P&P.
Duties and fees
Vanguard Models isn’t responsible for any duty or fee imposed on packages sent outside of the UK. Couriers can be obliged to impose duty, dependent on parcel value and can also charge a fee for administering/initially paying the duty on your behalf. Whilst these charges can sometimes seem to be arbitrary, please don’t compromise Vanguard Models by asking for us to ‘mark down/low declare’ the value of your parcel to reduce any fee, as this is a criminal act. Please query any duty charges with the customs office of your own country.
