At Vanguard Models, we strive to process and deliver your orders as quickly and efficiently as possible.

HMS Surprise – Pre-Order Shipping Information

This section applies specifically to the HMS Surprise.

The HMS Surprise will be available to pre-order from 21/05/2026.

We are aiming to begin dispatching pre-order kits within 4–6 weeks of the pre-order date. Orders will be fulfilled on a first order, first dispatch basis.

We will continue to provide updates should there be any changes to the estimated dispatch timeline.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. However, larger kits may take up to 5 business days to process.
You will receive another notification once your order has been shipped.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your location and chosen delivery method.
Estimated delivery times depend on the shipping option selected and your location. While we aim for timely delivery, please note that actual delivery times may vary due to customs or carrier delays.

Domestic Shipping (United Kingdom)

  • We deliver to all addresses within the UK.
  • Standard delivery is typically 2–5 business days, depending on the shipping option chosen. Please note, bulk orders may take longer.
  • Free UK delivery on all model kits. Any accessories purchased alongside a model kit will also qualify for free UK delivery.

International Shipping

  • We ship to select countries worldwide. International delivery times vary depending on the destination and shipping carrier.
  • Please be aware that orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to additional customs duties, taxes, or fees upon arrival in the destination country. Customers are responsible for these charges.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, we will provide a tracking number (if applicable) via email so you can monitor its progress.

Delivery Issues

If your order is delayed or you experience any issues with delivery, please contact us at sales@vanguardmodels.com, and we will assist you in resolving the problem.

Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Orders that cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided during checkout will be returned to us. In such cases, you may incur additional shipping charges to resend the package.

Lost or Damaged Packages

While we take great care in packaging your orders, damage or loss during transit may sometimes occur. If your package arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated time frame, please contact us as soon as possible.
We are not liable for lost packages if you choose a postage option without tracking.
